My name is Autumn and I'm 44 years old.  I don't remember much of my early years, but from 6 years old on, I've had dreams that proved true time and again.  Most of the dreams were about things I'd rather not have seen...like plane crashes.  :(  I've seen most major plane crashes before they've happened and watched people die in them.  If there were some way of controlling the dream so that I could see the plane with enough detail to try to stop the crashes, life would be easier...but apparently it's not meant to be. 

I joined a Baptist Church and was a devout Christian for years.  When I started finding inconsistencies and lies within the Book, I went to the ministers to ask the questions plagueing my mind.  The only answers I got were anger and bigotry.  That made the decision for me to leave the Baptist religion.  I tried many more Christian religions...including Jehovah's Witness.  Out of all of them, I have to be honest and tell you that the Witnesses were the ones truest to what they read, believed and did as a result.  But, this religion again wasn't the one for me.  During my Baptist years I had aquired a book called Earth Power by Scott Cunningham.  In being shown scripture in the bible stating that any occult books should be burned...I burned this book.  I had again bought that book and a couple of others in the time after I left the Baptist religion and found Jehovah's Witnesses.  Again I had the scripture pointed out about burning the books, and again did. 

When I had left behind all of the religions I was looking at, and was just trying to be a good mother and take care of my home, my daughter developed warts on her hand.  The doctor told me it was going to be $300 to get them burned off.  Money has always been tight, so this was a major thing.  I was in the checkout line at a Winn Dixie store in Louisville, KY...when I found a small pamplet that talked about healing yourself with herbs.  I thought it was probably bull, but in looking it over, I found where it said you could use dandelions to cure warts.  I bought that little pamplet for like $.50 with the understanding that I had nothing to lose.  If it worked...well...I'd just saved $300.  If it didn't, I was still going to have to find the $300 to get the burning done.  Needless to say, it worked.  Within 2 weeks, my child no longer had warts.  Natural and Herbal healing from that point became a passion to me.  I bought every book I could find on it.  In the bookstore one day I found a book that I believed to be on Herbal Healing.  I bought it and took it home, only to find that it was on Magical Herbalism instead.  Intrigued...and believing that I'd been led to the book for some reason, I read every page.  Magical Herbalism by Scott Cunningham is the name of the book.  Eventually this led me back to the 3rd purchase of Earth Power.  This was in my 25th year.  My learning and search for myself has gone from there...but Witchcraft is definitely my place to be.  :)
